Mixing

We balance your stems into a mix that works on studio monitors and earbuds — with clear communication and 2 revision rounds included.

Mix engineer at faders in a dim control room with monitors.

Mixing is where arrangement, emotion and technique meet. In the control room at Van Ostadestraat 184 engineers who know both band recording and vocal recording understand how your sources were captured.

Send multitracks or book in-studio hours for a hands-on project. Mastering is a separate step via Mastering; we deliver stereo mixes and optional stems-plus-mix for DJs or remixers.

Process

  1. Delivery

Upload stems with clear names or bring a drive. Follow our mix delivery formats guide for sample rate and headroom.

  2. Balance

We set faders, panning, EQ and compression per group — drums, bass, vocals, synths — and check on more than one monitor pair.

  3. Feedback

You get a first mix with notes. You have 2 revision rounds to adjust levels, effects or vocal prominence.

  4. Final bounce

Final stereo WAV (and instrumental or a cappella on request). Files stay available for download for 6 months.

What our mix solves

Home mixes often sound small or wobbly in the low mids. At Nazeriniedgevi we fix phase between drum mics, carve space for lead vocals and stop bass and kick fighting on small speakers. The aim is not “louder” but readable: every part audible without tiring EQ spikes.

We mix pop, hip-hop, rock, electronic and jazz-leaning material. Extremes like heavy metal or large orchestral work need an upfront talk — they may exceed the standard per-song rate or timeline. Tell us where the mix must land: club PA, Spotify, vinyl — each medium wants different stereo width and bass choices.

Already have a solid rough mix? Send it along. We will not ship it as the final, but it shows choices you made and where you got stuck.

Submitting stems

Send 24-bit WAVs, all tracks from the same start point, no limiter printed on individual stems. Export vocals dry; reverb and delay can sit on separate sends if you want that control. Up to 48 tracks per song within €285; extra tracks bill at €88 hourly.

Include a rough mix and references (for direction, not cloning). Our mix delivery formats explained covers zip layout, naming and tempo maps.

In the control room

We start with drums and bass — the foundation — then vocals and harmonies, then overdubs and effects. Vocal and break automation comes late so we are not rebalancing constantly. Engineers switch monitors: nearfields for detail, a second pair for low-end checks.

Want to listen live? Book time at €88 per hour in the studio. Remote works too: feedback with timestamps in email or a shared doc.

Revisions and scope

Each per-song package includes 2 revision rounds after the first bounce. One round bundles your notes; we implement them in one batch within a reasonable window (usually a few business days, schedule dependent). Extra rounds or stem-only remixes bill hourly.

Mixing excludes mastering, fixing bad recordings, or producing new instruments. We can trim silences or obvious clicks when it fits the booked time.

EPs and larger projects

Four songs can use the EP package at €720 incl. VAT — one coherent sound across the release. Singles stay €285 each. Large albums get a project quote with milestone deliveries.
